Many old snow blowers also have had this knob and i find it very handy especially if you are using it for the first time in the spring season after keeping it unused in garage for entire winter season.
I feel that this blower uses fuel very efficiently.
I could easily go several hours of non stop blowing without needing to fill the gas tank.
It has two buttons: one that you press and runs the blower as long as you have it pressed.
The other button is such that you can adjust it to a speed you need and forget about it and blower keeps running at that speed.
This blower is handheld so if you plan on blowing for long hours and imagine that it could cause you hand fatigue, shoulder pain or so.
I would say that do not buy this version.
You can go for any other backpack blower that you may like.
This blower does need mixture of oil and gas.
So if you are particular about using the mixture every time, you would be fine.
