modern carpet squares::I am redecorating a small upstairs bedroom.
It is a guest room, so it has to be somewhat neutral.
I have hathered some decorative peices from home interiors and they are all black.
I was thinking about doing the room in black and white, but now i am not so sure.
My decorations are really contemporary.
I have some square shadowboxes, 2 wall sconces with crystals hanging from them, a white shelf, and a few other nicknacs.
What color sceme would you recommend for this room?
If all else fails, i could paint the decorations a different color.
I do not have any bedding yet, so any suggestions would be great as to what colors i should use.
Psthe carpet is beige in this room so anything goes!
I would love to do canary yellow.
But it has to be neutral.
It would have to be a very pale yellow what if i did a beachy type room and painted the walls a blue and painted all my accents white?
With black decor, go with a golden based tan, or something with a golden look.
Tape a bunch of samples around the room and look at them during different parts of the day.
I have a lot of black accent pieces in my room and the color i chose really makes my pieces stand out.
